Here are a couple of extra tips and tricks for a Holly Jolly ZOOM Christmas Party for all! Pick a theme e.g. Winter Wonderland or Silly Santa Hair so the kids can all dress up for the party and feel a sense of community Implement Christmas themed experiences with the kids in preparation for the party e.g.
  • Cut out paper snowflakes to stick on the walls
  • Make snow people paintings using cotton balls (babies and toddlers)
  • Create Christmas themed stained glass windows with coloured cellophane and cardboard!
  • Have the kids work together to make a cardboard box post box in which they can write letters to Santa

If you're looking for little stocking fillers to make the day extra holly jolly, you can pick a theme for the kids (it could be for the whole centre or different ones for each room) so the kids can have fun dressing up and feel a sense of community (think EYLF Outcome 2).
